Marcy Planer has been active in the real estate industry for over thirty years. She holds Louisiana licenses in law, real estate, and title insurance. She has been an attorney since 1986 and a realtor since 1993. She has experience as a closing attorney on thousands of residential sales and refinances. In addition, Ms. Planer has represented residential buyers and sellers, held leadership roles in several homeowner associations and has served as a hearing officer for property tax assessment appeals. Ms. Planer received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and her law degree, cum laude, from Tulane University Law School. Ms. Planer is also a Fellow of the Loyola Institute of Politics. Ms. Planer was appointed to the Jefferson Parish Finance Authority in 2016.
