Ms. Sally F. Bourgeois
Sally Bourgeois was appointed to the Jefferson Parish Finance Authority in September of 2020. Ms. Bourgeois worked for the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) in Washington D.C. as a Regional U.S. Home Loan Supervisor. Ms. Bourgeois moved back to Jefferson Parish where she spent five years working as a Residential Loan Processor and an Area Account Representative in the mortgage industry. Ms. Bourgeois then graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education as well as a permanent teaching certificate. Ms. Bourgeois taught thirty-six years within the Archdiocese of New Orleans as an English and Religion teacher. Once Ms. Bourgeois retired from teaching, she opened a business that allowed her to share her love of taking care of animals with her community. Old Metairie Pet Sitting Service was in business for the next fifteen years. Ms. Bourgeois is an active member in church communities and enjoys spending time with her husband of fifty years, Robert, and their family and friends.
